Mangoes from Peru: attractive, tasty and organic

Peru is considered as a supplier of especially attractive, delicious Mangoes which are also low in fibre. The growing areas are all located in the north, in the departments of Piura, Lambayeque and Cajamarca. In 2006, Peru exported 21 million trays offresh Mangoes weighing 4 kg each for a total of US 60 million dollar. This total is 55% higher than in the previous year. The principal sales countries are France, Belgium, the UK, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Spain, New Zealand and the US.
