A Clemson class introduces female students to hunting, reflecting industry-wide outreach and growing interest in the sport among women.Outdoor recreational activities such as hunting are less likely to be pursued by women than men for a variety of reasons. Research suggests that women might feel unwelcome or awkward due to the male-dominated nature of hunting, or they may feel intimidated, ill prepared or physically incapable of participation.
