It should, because it's the daily deal that each carton converter faces in what is becoming an ever more demanding market that is being driven by the Internet and social media. At a recent conference in London that I attended, which examined the role of digital print technology in package printing, two major brand owners, Coca-Cola and SAB Miller, freely admitted they could not predict where the growth of social media would lead them in terms of product packaging — but both admitted the effect it was having was scary!
