Based in Getigne, approximately 30km from Nantes in the northwest region of France, Papcart is one of the leading printers and converters of microflute and carton board in France. Originally specialising in printing shoeboxes, deregulation in the sports industry in the late 1980s prompted Papcart to refocus its efforts towards the food industry. This proved to be a successful strategy and by combining human and technological competence, the company has secured a strong position in the market place. To fuel this growth, the company acquired Micro Carton in 1999, which served to reinforce Papcart's position in the spirits packaging industry. Today, the company continues to diversify into new, related food markets. Papcart has always pursued a policy of sustained investment, which has enabled it to remain at the cutting edge in terms of technology and to extend its range of services. Papcart effectively incorporates all types of board converting operations, from design through to logistics via digital prepress, offset printing of carton and microflute, die-cutting, folding and gluing.
