Facilities Elusieve process reduces fiber

POULTRY and swine do not digest fiber well, and it has so far been considered too expensive to remove fiber from feeds such as ground corn flour, soybean meal and dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS) before they are fed to chicken or pigs. Now, however, researchers have developed a simple new process, coined "Elusieve," that combines sieving and air classification (elutriation/aspiration) to separate fiber from feeds.
