UK farmers' activity in the market for land and farms has been muted in recent years as Irish, Danish and investment buyers account for major deals. But is the British farmer set to come back into the fray? In the past couple of years the UK farming community has bought surprisingly little of the land sold in Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk - only 12% by area and 10% by value, according to figures compiled here in our Spalding office.
