EARLY THIS YEAR, Malaysia's new Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, named Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin a senior minister as the country's new agriculture minister The Prime Minister wants Muhyiddin to boost the Malaysian agricultural sector.The agricultural sector needs strong leadership, a strong hand to strive. Before fully committing his resources to his new role Muhyiddin set off around the country to get a picture of the state of agriculture, looking at farming projects and learning some of problems faced by farmers at ground level.
