National organic production research project begins with tomatoes

Dr. Tom Papadopoulos is involved with a pair of national projects, working with colleagues Dr. David Ehret in British Columbia and Dr. Marline Dorais in Quebec. Each team is handling different aspects of the studies. Organic production: The growing interest in organically grown foods is reflected in a major three-year study. The attention this year is on tomatoes, while the study will look at cucumbers next year and peppers in year-three.
