摘要

A simple and accurate method is described for the analysis of very small amounts of selenium in glass by means of polarographic catalytic wave. The sample is decomposed by hydrofluoric and perchloric acids. In the sodium sulphite-ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid disodium salt (EDTA)-tartaric acid-perchloric acid-potassium iodate system the concentration of selenium is proportional to the peak current over the range of 4 X 10~(-4) to 2 X 10~(-2) mg/ml. The recovery of selenium was found to be (100 +- 5) percent. The relative standard deviation of the method is 0.038.
