It has been demonstrated that while using diethylene glycol as an active solvent, it is possible to significantly decrease the viscosity of epoxy binders and, hence, to decrease the duration of impregnation irrespectively of the geometrical properties of the molded article. The results of the numerical simulation of the impregnation rates of the fiberglass fabric of various weave patterns are given as a function of the geometrical properties of the molded article. It is established that for a highly viscous binder the impregnation duration of the integral panel is more than triple that of a flat one. The decrease in viscosity leads to the alignment of the impregnability rates and the difference in time for flat and integral panels is not higher than 5%.
