The first Disneyland Park opened in Shanghai, China, Disneyland in June 2016, with the world's largest Disney Castle - the Enchanted Storybook Castle - as well as six theme areas: Mickey Avenue, Garden of Imagination, Fantasyland, Adventure Isle, Treasure Cove and Tomorrow Land. Tomorrow Land gives visitors a futuristic vision seen in the Disney film TRON: Legacy. " The dome structure is blended with Chinese calligraphy and garden art; the streamline ribbon edge is inspired by calligraphy strokes, the shape of which is like tale scale of the dragon. When the varicoloured lights are shining at night, the dome is like a lantern." said Scott Drake, the Executive Creative Director of Tomorrowland.
