Fedorov Session 2006

摘要

The regular Fedorov Session was held May 29-30,2006,at the St.Petersburg State Mining Institute (Technical University) (SPSMI).The session was organized by the SPSMI and the Russian Mineralogical Society (RMS).The session was devoted to the discussion of a wide range of topics of fundamental crystallography,mineralogy,and petrography.The program comprised three thematic sections (morphological analysis of crystals and crystal aggregates,genesis of crystals in natural and artificial systems,and structural typomor-phism and spectroscopy of minerals) and two traditional sections,one open for discussion of the problems of mineralogy "in the whole space of this word" and one on the history of the science.
