摘要

Compound libraries are importantresources for the identification of lead structures in the pharmaceutical research. For the rapid production of compound libraries automation of the synthesis, the purification and the analysis of the reaction products is necessary. A suitable system for the synthesis of a compound library on the basis of a multi-component reaction and combinatorial chemistry has been developed. All necessary working steps such as the automated synthesis of the compounds, the analysis of the product mixtures, the automated purification, the manufacturing of the DMSO solutions as well as the validation and IT organization of the library elements are automated. The system has been designed and used for the creation of a collection of over 1.000 compounds for the screening in biological assays in order to identify new GSK3beta inhibitors.
