Pakistan’s petroleum ministry will hold a series of roadshows ahead of an oil and gas licensing round aimed at boosting domestic production in the south Asian state. Pakistan is set to offer 52 onshore areas for exploration in the 2009 licensing round and plans to meet with potential bidders in the UK, Canada and the US before the end of the month where companies will be invited to bid for the areas under offer.
