Thailand to offer first exploration blocks in seven years

Thailand is set to launch its first bidding round in seven years next week with the government expected to offer concessions for 29 exploration areas, according to reports this week. The round is likely to include blocks in the offshore central and northeast provinces of the country, however the majority of will be onshore in the northeast of the country, close to its border with Laos.
