摘要

A transition from macroscopically localized to delocalized uniform plastic deformation upon spontaneous nucleation and expansion (throughout the entire sample volume) of deformation bands at the edge of plastic flow steps in Al-Mg alloys deformed at a constant loading rate was revealed and investigated. The fundamental difference between the relationships of the strain step with the degree of localization of plastic deformation upon extension of metal samples at a constant load rate σ0- const and a constant strain rate ε0 = const was discussed.
