Ewing's sarcoma of the small intestine misdiagnosed as a voluminous pedunculated uterine leiomyoma

Dear Editor,We report a case of a very uncommon misdiagnosis of a voluminous pedunculated uterine leiomyoma in an adolescent. A 15-year-old Italian girl presented complaining of progressive pelvic pain, mainly during sports activities. She reported no other symptoms. A palpable large dense mass occupying the cul-de-sac was found during bimanual examination.
