John Tuite is a self-confessed plantaholic, always eager to try new and unusual plants,so when he and his wife Sue spotted an advertisement offering two acres of walled garden for development, they leapt at the opportunity. 'We were running an alpine nursery and wanted to learn about different plants', remembers Sue. 'Although the site wasout of the way, tucked into the heart of the countryside, we knew it had a future for us'. The garden dates back to Georgian times and was originally the kitchen garden of West Acre High House, near King's Lynn.
