Demand for household appliances - white goods - in developing countries means the global market will grow 2.8% annually to reach around 500m units by 2013, according to a new report from Freedonia.The 'World Major Household Appliances' report says demand in Asia Pacific is set to grow 3.3% over the next three years, compared to 2.6% in the US and 1.4% in Europe.
