On its K2004 stand Sidel celebrates selling its 100th Combi,a machine that brings PET bottle blowing,filling,and capping together in equipment that boasts high yield,superior hygiene,and an ergonomic design to produce record-breaking,lightweight PET bottles.Since several operations are housed within a single piece ofequipment,the process can be fully controlled at all output rates.This reduces interface problems and improves overall yield,similar to the advantages of incorporating capping operations into filling machines.
