GM shifts gear on Chinese sourcing

US automotive giant General Motors has shifted its view on China as a parts sourcing location, saying it now sees limits to the volume of components that will be sourced from the country. The car maker has said in the past that China presented an almost unlimited source of low cost car parts for its global operations. Now Nick Reilly, president of GM Asia Pacific (pictured left), has told EPN's sister magazine Automotive News that there is "probably some limit on China sourcing."
