We appreciate the interest of Lin and Lue [1] in our paper [2]. The focus of our discussion section was the explanation of potential mechanisms of action of stem cell therapy in Peyronie's disease (PD), to aid readers in understanding this potential future treatment option. The questions raised by Lin and Lue, two experts in urologic stem cell applications, give us the opportunity to clarify more detailed issues pertaining to the experimental design.
