We read with great interest the editorial by Meeks and Eastham [1] commenting on our paper [2], which showed that robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) is associated with better perioperative outcomes relative to open radical prostatectomy (ORP). Several important points were raised that merit further discussion.
