Breaking records with biomethane

The bus, owned by Reading Buses, was recorded doing a lap speed of 76.78mph at Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedford in mid-May. Painted black and white like the former owner of its fuel feedstock, Bus Hound runs on biomethane compressed natural gas made from animal waste that is broken down using anaerobic digestion. This process produces biogas which is then liquefied and used as fuel.
