Heat and mass transfer in freezing grounds

摘要

The method of solving the problem of freezing (thawing) grounds of semi-infinite and finite thickness is suggested for various boundary conditions. The calculated and experimentally obtained patterns of temperature, moisture content, and moisture accumulation in the frozen layer are compared.
