SPACE-TIME PRINCIPLES OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOLONETZ PROCESS IN SOILS OF DRY AND DESERT STEPPES

摘要

A comparative study is conducted for paleosoils of archaeological monuments of different age within Dark Chestnut, Chestnut, Light Chestnut, and Brown Desert-Steppe soil geographical subzones. Indicators of solonetzicity in soils of the region appeared asynchronically, mainly in the third and second millennia B.C. The solonetzic stage is considered obligatory in the formation of modem Light Chestnut and Brown Soils.
