PROVIDING cost effective and reliable supply and services all the way from production to the customer is one of the main features of new Bremen-based import company Zerres Fruit Partners, which began operating in December. The new firm will focus on offering market-oriented fresh produce supply programmes to producers, and will be a trading company and service provider, explains Robert Zerres, the company's founder. "Our plan is to service fresh produce import programmes direct from overseas, including deciduous fruit, citrus and also some exotics," he tells Eurofruit Magazine.
