EXPORTADORASUBSOLE S.A. was created in 1991 by the Prohens family of Copiapd, Eduardo Rodriguez and current president Miguel Allamand. All of the partners are growers. The Prohens family is well known for its successful early grape vineyards in Copiapd and Mr Rodriguez for his later grape supplies from the production area of San Vicente. Mr Allamand has assumed responsibility for building and developing the company to its current position in its international markets. "Our idea was to build a company that we would be proud of," notes Mr Allamand, "We pay great attention to the way that we handle our business and to our relationships with our growers and importers."
