The following criticism deals with the article of FALTER and Hasse over landscape photography. It shows that what is interpreted as a sign of a working divine power in nature, represents the traditional and conservative programme of the German Heimatschutz. Furthermore, the reasons for the fact are executed that the interpretation of the landscape photos introduced by FALTER and Hasse ignores the sublime expressed obviously in these photos. From the faith in a divine power results besides a anti-democratic adjustment of the Heimat programme, which is finally represented.
