Nine new species of the genera Gryon, Idris, and Ceratobaeus are described from Japan, Gryon incras-satum is closely related to G. mischa Kononova, but differs from it in the sculpture of the head (without transverse wrinkles on upper side, but with large alveoli; shallow frontal depression not bordered with carina; transverse wrinkles of frontal depression nearly reaching anterior ocellus) and the structure of metasomal tergite II (with large alveoli and short sparse transverse wrinkles at base), Gryon tardus is closely related to G. ennius.
