On the hydrophilid genus Paracymus Thomson (Coleoptera, Hydrophilidae) of the fauna of Armenia

The genus Paracymus Thomson (Coleoptera, Hydrophilidae) of the fauna of Armenia with 3 species is revised. Quasiparacymus subgen. n. (type species Paracymus chalceolus Solsky) is established based on the morphology of the mouthparts and abdomen. Diagnosis of the genus Paracymus, a key to the subgenera and species of the Armenian fauna, descriptions of each species with figures of the structures important in the diagnostics, and data on the general distribution of all species and their distribution in Armenia are given.
