Grass seed-eating flies of the orientalis group of the genus Dicraeus (Diptera, Chloropidae)

The orientalis species group is established within the genus Dicraeus Loew. Species of the group are characterized by black body with yellow notopleural emargination. The group includes D. orientalis Becker 1911, D. flavipes Duda 1930, D. phyllostachyus Kanmyia 1971, D. nartshukae Kanmyia 1971, and a new species, D. malaisei sp. n. from Burma. A key to species of the group is given together with drawings of genitalia.
