A New Species of the Genus Paussobrenthus Gestro (Coleoptera, Brentidae) from Laos

A new species Paussobrenthus merkli sp, n. is described from Laos. A key to all 4 known species of the genus Paussobrenthus is provided. In the material on the family Brentidae, supplied by Dr. O. Merkl for examination (Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest), I have found a new species of the distinctive myrmecophilous genus Paussobrenthus Gestro, 1918. One male and two females of this species were collected in Laos. The holotype and one paratype of the new species are deposited at the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest; one para-type, at the Zoological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg,
