Safeguard duties have improved the current complex situation to an optimum extent

The current domestic steel industry is in a state of flux which in return is affecting the refractory industry on an effectuate note. However, the safeguard duties imposed by the Government has improved this tense and pressurized environment to some extent, says Hakimuddin Ali, Chairman, IRMA & Managing Director at Calderys India Refractories Limited.
