摘要

Opinion is divided over whether a comprehensive agreement on Iran's nuclear program is possible by a Nov. 24 deadline, but even optimists concede that the hurdles involved in getting there remain quite high (EC Oct. 17' 14). Without a deal, negotiators are likely to sign off on either a continuation of the existing interim deal, or what some are calling an "interim-plus" deal — in which both sides would make further concessions, and talks toward a comprehensive agreement would continue for several more months.
