Preparing Students for Globalization - Working with International Teams with Projects

Copenhagen University College of Engineering in Denmark has signed cooperation agreements with many technical universities and colleges all over the world. Most of the agreements are within the different programmes which contain a wide range of measures designed to support the European activities of higher education institutions and to promote the mobility and exchange of their teaching staff and students. The SOCRATES-ERASMUS programme was established in 1987. At the Copenhagen University College of Engineering we are well prepared to receive international students [1], because we have several programmes taught in English. In the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering (EIT) we offer full bachelor programs in Electronics and in Information and Communication Technology, both taught in English. We also receive students from many other countries outside Europe on these two programmes. Most of our courses use educational methods based on teamwork and project-based learning.
