NOTES ON DEFINITIONS OF NATURAL GAS TRADED INTERNATIONALLY

Import prices have been derived from customs statistics reported by the member countries to Eurostat, except in the case of Germany, where for January 2005 onwards the prices are derived from statistics published on the website of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. The import values reported by the Member countries are in thousand EUR, imported quantities are reported in Terajoules from January 2005 onwards and in thousand tonnes before.
