STRI case study work using the Toro Precision Sense unit started in 2012 but during the past year the development of STRI's new Turf Management Programme (TMP) has gathered pace. In so many ways the work carried out to date is providing information which is directing new thinking. The need for applying special maintenance and being accurate in what operations are really required has never been more important when looking for increasing consistency in performance and perhaps as important, if not moreso, the need to manage costs.
