ANEW HOME FOR THE LONDON IRISH RUGBY CLUB

London Irish RFC have reaffirmed their commitment to their traditional home in Sunbury by moving into new headquarters at the Hazelwood site. They have recently completed their new, state of the art training pitches and extensive facilities for the academy and junior teams.The Hazelwood site extends to an area of approximately 22 ha and accommodates a total of 17 pitches including a high standard, floodlit pitch with rootzone reinforcement, a floodlit artificial turf pitch to IRB standards and a third floodlit, high standard pitch with ameliorated soil rootzone constructed on individual platforms. Two further large platforms accommodate two adult pitches and four natural grass pitches forunder I Is & under 12s and eight mini-rugby pitches of various sizes for the under 7s to under 10s.
