Bio Plant Technologies LLC and GHP Biodiesel USA Inc. signed an agreement May 18 to jointly build a new 11.5 million-gallon-per-year used cooking oil-based biodiesel plant in Boulder, Colo. Bio Plant Technologies LLC, operating as ClearEcos, is a Colorado-based used cooking oil collector and was founded five years ago “with the goal of improving air quality in the Front Range of Colorado,” according to a statement issued by the company.
