In-vitro propagation method of Dracaena. marginata cv. "Tricolour" was established. Shoot cultures were initiated from shoot-tip on MS-medium supplemented with 0.5 mg/l BA plus 2.0 mg/l IBA. Different types of cytokinins (Kin, BA and 2iP) were addedto MS-medium in concentration of 4.0 mg/l. The results pointed out that shoot development with no root formation were achieved. Largest number of shoots/ explant were obtained when stem cuttings were cultured on MS-medium supplemented with 4.0 mg/l ofBA compared with the others (2iP and Kin). Supplementation of the culture medium by 80 mg/lof adenine sulphate enhanced and increased shoots initiation compared with control treatment. For root induction on shoot, three types of auxins (IAA, IBA and NAA)at concentration 2 mg/l were added separately to the culture medium. The highest percentage of root formation (80 percent) was obtained by the addition of NAA (2 mg/l) compared with IBA and IAA (50 percent and 40 percent respectively). Successful transplanting was obtained when rooted plantlets were transferred to a mixture of vermicolate and peatmoss (1:1).
