Emission of carbon dioxide by urban households

摘要

Household consumption is one of the important factors to induce CO_2 emission. Change in lifestyle and increase in living expenditures with income growth may lead to increase in CO_2 emission. This paper aims to estimate CO_2 emission induced by household consumption and then to suggest them to offset the amount of CO_2 The paper calculated the inventory of CO_2 emission in Hisar city. The results indicated that the highest amount of CO_2 was by those families, who had high income level.
