During the last few years the paperma-chines around the world set one speed record after another,a development that was mainly influenced by the introduc-tion of(shoe-)presses with closed paper web transfer(Tandem/Single-NipcoFlex)and improved runability components such as stabilisers with high vacuum release zones(ProRelease).
