摘要

Experimental results of local dispersed phase volume fractions in stirred vessels are presented. By means of an endoscope technique geometrically similar vessels with the diameters of 0.2,0.4 and 0.9 m were investigated at up to 70 different local positions. The results presented in this paper provide deeper insight into the complex fluid dynamics of stirred solid-liquid systems.
