Every year for 25 years, the top of my list of most asked questions, along with green speed, is bunker condition. Golfers often misunderstand the reasons for a problem with bunkers and invariably equate the difficulty with "the wrong sand". Actually,there are a number of factors which can come into play. So what preventative measures can the course manager and greenstaff take to reduce the bar room grumbles about bunkers?
