Qinzhou Opening Due in June

PetroChina will open its Qinzhou refinery in southwestern Guangxi province in June, parent China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) said Wednesday. The 200,000 b/d refinery will produce 140,600 b/d of gasoline, gas oil and jet kerosene targeted at local markets, it added. The plant will be PetroChina's first in southwestern China, which now relies on products supplied from coastal areas.
