Origin Adds CBM Reserves

Australia's Origin Energy is to pay A$660 million (US$464 million) for a coalbed methane (CBM) exploration block in eastern Australia that it may use to supply the domestic market or underpin an LNG plant it plans to build with US ConocoPhillips. Origin will buy 100% of the block from private resources company Pangaea.
