Kuwait Oil Co. (KOC) has inked a 116.39 million Kuwaiti dinar ($406 million) contract with the UK’s Petrofac to install pipelines to carry fuel gas and gas oil from the Mina al-Ahmadi refinery to the Azzour and Shuaiba power stations. Petrofac will be responsible for engineering, procurement and construction of the pipelines for the development, which will include a fuel oil pumping station, metering systems, utilities systems, and associated electrical instrumentation and telecommunications.
