Hoping to cut off access to overseas "tax havens," the White House has proposed a slew of changes to the US corporate tax code for companies with foreign subsidiaries. And those changes could cost the US oil and gas industry large sums of money if Congress approves the provisions as part of the president's 2010 budget, several industry sources tell International Oil Daily.
