It is with both sadness and fondness that I share the news that Rose Mary Carroll-Johnson, MN, RN, a gifted oncology nurse, author, and editor, died of cancer at home on Monday, February 21, 2011, at the age of 64. A Senior Research Specialist in Nursing Research and Education at The City of Hope Medical Center in Duarte, California, Rose Mary was a committed oncology nurse and most recently the editor of the Oncology Nursing Society's journal Oncology Nursing Forum (from 1991 to present).
